Linking to Library Resources

This guide explains how to get permanent URLs to library resources that can be shared via Canvas, email, or other systems.

Finding Permanent URLs in Gale Databases

Several Gale databases are available through the library's Database A-Z List. Follow the instructions below to find permanent links to articles, ebooks, or other resources contained within them.

 

1) Look up the item you want in a Gale database. This example is a search for "environmental science" in Academic OneFile.

2) Click the title of the item you want to enter the full record:

3) In the top right corner, click the button that says "Get Link".

4) Copy the link that pops up in the middle of the screen and paste or share as needed.
