Library Content for Online Teaching and Learning

The Leatherby Libraries has an array of resources for your virtual teaching needs.

Using Sage Campus for Instruction

Sage Campus offers self-paced courses on critical skills and research methods for all stages of academic study. Major topics include data literacy, research skills, getting published, data science, and information literacy. Learner Pathways map series of related courses that focus on specific learning outcomes.

As an instructor, you can take Sage Campus courses yourself, but there are also two ways that you can assign Sage Campus content to your students*:

Option 1: Assign Sage Campus courses or modules through Canvas

You can assign entire Sage Campus courses or individual modules within a course as assignments in Canvas. The guide below will walk you through the steps.

Note: You can only assign one course/module per assignment in Canvas. If you want to assign multiple Sage Campus courses/modules, you will need to create a separate assignment for each one.

Option 2: Become a Course Assigner in Sage Campus

Contact the Chair of Resources and Scholarly Communications, Kristin Laughtin-Dunker, at laughtin@chapman.edu for the ability to assign courses and track student progress directly within Sage Campus. This will allow you to track student progress in more detail and get class statistics on course completion.

*Both methods require instructors and students to create individual, free accounts within Sage Campus using their Chapman credentials.
