Citation Management Tools

This guide will help you learn how to use Endnote, Zotero, and Mendeley, three citation management tools that can help you keep your sources organized and generate citations.

Organizing References

EndNote allows us to organize our references into Groups, where we can collect all our research on a topic for a project or paper. Individual items can be added to multiple groups. To start a new group, select the references that you would like to put in a group. Click 'Add to group' and select 'New group'. Enter in a name for the group and click Ok. The selected references will appear in the newly created group.
