Creating Alerts

Creating alerts in databases you often use for your research will save you time and energy while preparing your papers, finishing your assignments, or producing your theses or dissertations. Alerts also provide you with the most current information and access to the most recently published works on your topic of interest.

In order to set up a search alert in any database, you need to create an account for that particular database. This login does not need to be the same as your Chapman network login.

EBSCOhost is a platform which allows you to run searches in multi-databases such as:

Business Source Premier, Academic Search Premier, GreenFILE, HealthSource: Nursing/Academic Edition, PsycINFO and much more.

In order to set up an alert in Google Scholar, you need to sign in to your Google Scholar account.
