Interlibrary Loan

The interlibrary loan service allows you to borrow books and journal articles that the Leatherby Libraries does not own. This service is available to currently enrolled Chapman University students, and currently employed faculty and staff.

Requesting items through Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery

Items that are not available through the library's online resources or in the library may be requested through interlibrary loan. 

Rinker campus students and faculty may request items from the Orange campus through document delivery and the interlibrary loan program. Items will be delivered to the Health Sciences Study Commons and will be held at the Library Services Desk for pickup.

Paging Items from Orange to Rinker

Students, faculty, and staff can request for library items on Orange campus be delivered to the Study Commons on Rinker campus for pickup.

Where Do I Pick Up Items?

Items can be picked up at the Library Services Desk in the Health Sciences Study Commons. You can view the Library Services Desk location and hours here. Hours may change due to holidays and trimester breaks.

How Long Will items Be Held?

Items not picked up within 3 days will be returned to Orange campus. Contact us at rinkerlib@chapman.edu or (714) 516-5040 if you need this time extended or to cancel the hold.
