PRA-470 Library Guide

This is a guide of library resources to accompany the course PRA-470.

The Leatherby Libraries' subscribe to a number of newspaper databases, with each capable of searching through many news sources with the click of a button. Not every data.base is the same, though. Teach of the databases below have different coverage, depending on what geographic area you intend to search.

All of the databases below feature the same features which we discussed for Google, such as phrase searching and truncation.

Provides cover-to-cover full text for more than 40 national (U.S.) and international newspapers and selective full text for more than 370 regional (U.S.) newspapers, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and USA Today. Additional coverage includes full-text television and radio news transcripts provided from such sources as CBS News, CNN, CNN International, FOX News, and NPR, among others. List of Titles.

Includes digital reproductions providing access to every page from every available issue and offers full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue.
