The Leatherby Libraries are committed to providing an inclusive learning environment and services. Students may also request further accessibility accommodations through the Disability Services Office.

Located near the West entrance, the Circulation Desk provides assistance with lending and returns of materials, course reserves, technology checkout, study room access, and lost and found. Students enjoy a generous checkout policy: Master's students may check out up to 75 items for 8 weeks with two renewals, and Ph.D. students may check out up to 100 items for 16 weeks with two renewals.

The Leatherby Libraries facilitate submissions of theses and dissertations online to Chapman University Digital Commons and ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global.

Chapman’s currently enrolled students may use the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service to request materials (books, articles, conference papers) that the Leathery Libraries do not own. This is a free service for both graduates and doctoral students.

An extensive collection of databases provide access to articles, conference proceedings, eBooks, dissertations/theses, datasets, newspapers, images, audio recordings, video streaming, music scores, anatomical teaching tools, science education videos, and research skills and methods online courses. Log in with your Chapman username (the first part before '@' of your email) and password.

On the 1st floor, reference librarians are available to answer your questions and guide you in locating resources for your research. Please feel free to stop by in person, call, email, or chat using the form on the library's website. In-person and virtual reference hours are available on the library hours page.

Group study and multi-media rooms can be reserved online up to 7 days in advance. Graduate students have a total of up to 8 hours of reservations and doctoral students have up to 10 hours of reservations.

Located on the 1st floor, IS&T staff are available to assist you with student IDs and computer-related questions.

Printers are available on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Scanners are on the 1st floor.

Students are given an initial FREE print credits at the start of each semester.
